- Palouse Starburst - Graphic design in the fields of the Palouse as seen from Steptoe Butte in later afternoon.
- Palouse Versus the Storm - Throughout the afternoon, heavy clouds rolled in over the Palouse in Eastern Washington. Assuming there would be no sunset, I was already back in the hotel checking my email when I noticed the color of light streaming in the window. Needless to say, I dropped everything and ran outside. One small hole remained at the horizon, through which the setting sun passed, creating an amazing sight. Driving out on a dirt road and nearly getting stuck in the mud, this was the result. - - Part of the Highly Honored winning entry from the Mountaineers Photo Committee Seattle Branch in the 2005 Nature’s Best Photography Awards! - - Selected Image - 2006 NANPA Member Showcase Gallery

- Reflection Lake - Mt. Rainier and Reflection Lake. There is a reason it's called Reflection Lake, but many people come here in the middle of the day, and find no reflection. The secret? The wind, of course. Usually only early in the morning and late in the day will the wind be kind enough to die down for this kind of a view to appear. Another secret? - Skyline Divide Sunset 2 - Although late in the season, a number of wildflowers were still blooming on Skyline Divide. I rather like all the diagonal lines in this image.
