Spring in the Painted Hills

With the right amount of rain, Oregon's Painted Hills can bloom with a yellow flower known as "bee plant," a striking contrast to the red stripes of the sediment layers in the hills themselves. The footprint tracks left by some animal down the hillside add a nice touch as well.
